So now you’d better stop and rebuild all your ruins. For peace and trust can win the day despite of all your losing

C Z A R I N A’s The Valkyrie: Immigrant Song is a real adrenaline rush. You are thrust into thumping drums and repetitive guitar with atmospheric interludes which make for a very powerful song. C Z A R I N A’s vocals are soft and airy but soon grow in grandeur and strength and at times sound almost pained. Lyrics are filled with brutality and reality as we reflect on our current situation, our survival.

In Norse mythology Ragnarök depicts a series of events including a great battle which leads to natural disasters and the demise of several significant figureheads (including the gods Thor, Odin, Heimdallr, Tyr, Freyr, and Loki). Valkyries are the female hosts who guide the souls of the brave soldiers to Valhalla to serve the gods in preparation for the Ragnarök which determines the future of the world.

Never before has this seemed so relevant to what we are experiencing at the moment with the global pandemic. Award-Winning Synth, Cyberpunk and Electronic Rock artist, songwriter and producer C Z A R I N A releases her incredible version of Led Zeppelin’s iconic original and called it The Valkyrie: Immigrant Song.

“For the first time, everyone in this world is united, all aboard a singular vessel. Our unity and our response to crisis determines our real qualities and who we truly are as humans. We will remember this period not by its outcome, but by how we usher ourselves and each other through in strength, in kindness, in love, in fealty and respect for all humanity as a whole“. – C Z A R I N A

The Valkyrie: Immigrant Song explodes with emotion, it is haunting and worms itself into your core. It reeks of devastation and desperation, clawing onto what we once knew and the hope of what is yet to come.
