Multi-platinum-selling superstar G-Eazy, born Gerald Earl Gillum, has emerged from a nearly three-year hiatus with his most personal and diverse album yet, “Freak Show.”

Released on June 21st, this seventh studio effort marks a significant moment in the 35-year-old rapper’s career, blending his signature style with raw emotion and musical exploration.

“Freak Show” is more than just a collection of tracks; it’s a deeply introspective journey that showcases G-Eazy’s growth as an artist and individual.

The album spans various genres, including hip-hop, pop-punk, trap, and alternative, reflecting the artist’s expansive musical influences and his ability to push creative boundaries.

One of the album’s standout tracks is “Lady Killers III,” a reimagined version of his viral hit that has been taking the internet by storm.

The original “Lady Killers Remix” experienced a major surge in popularity, reaching #2 on the Billboard TikTok chart, #4 on the Shazam U.S. Chart, and #7 on the Shazam Global Chart.

This new iteration breathes fresh life into the beloved track, demonstrating G-Eazy’s ability to evolve while staying true to his roots.

At the heart of this new release lies a poignant narrative of personal struggle and resilience. G-Eazy candidly addresses the devastating loss of his mother, Suzanne Olmsted, who passed away in November 2021.

The track “Love You Forever” stands out as a touching tribute, with G-Eazy rhyming, “My dear mama / My sweet mama / Nobody’s gonna hurt you / ‘Cause Gerald’s always gonna love you.”

This vulnerability adds a new dimension to the rapper’s public persona, allowing fans to connect with him on a more intimate level.

The album doesn’t shy away from other personal challenges, either.

On “Anxiety,” G-Eazy bares his soul, discussing his mental health struggles with unflinching honesty.

Lyrics like “Anxiety, insomnia manic episodes, body dysmorphia” and “Some days I’m high, I’m high, I’m high/ Throw my pain away… Some days I hide, I hide, I hide / I hide away” offers a stark contrast to the album’s more upbeat tracks, painting a comprehensive picture of the artist’s emotional landscape.

In support of “Freak Show,” G-Eazy has announced an extensive world tour spanning North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

The 41-date tour kicks off on October 24th in Berkeley, CA, and will visit major cities across the globe. European fans can look forward to shows in London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Dublin in February 2025.

Presale tickets and VIP packages will be available starting June 12th, with general ticket sales beginning on June 14th.

Fans are encouraged to visit g-eazy.com/pages/tour for more information and early access to US presale tickets.

G-Eazy’s return to the spotlight follows his critically acclaimed 2021 album “These Things Happen Too” and his platinum-certified 2017 release “The Beautiful & Damned.”

With multiple chart-topping hits, billions of streams, and accolades including a People’s Choice Award for “Favourite Hip-Hop Artist,” G-Eazy continues to solidify his position as a powerhouse in the music industry.

“Freak Show” represents not just a new album but a new chapter in G-Eazy’s artistic journey.

It’s a testament to his resilience, creativity, and willingness to bare his soul through his music.
