A fresh new debut release Them Eater from emerging artist River Rojas hits streaming platforms today.

And believe me, this is a song you will have on repeat all Autumn long!

This track is impressive, innovative and unique and will be a great addition to your playlist.

Rojas is a queer Mexican-English artist based in London who takes inspiration from bands such as The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, No Doubt and The Runaways.

This debut single celebrates love in all the forms it can take irrespective of gender or sexuality.

Rojas says of their new track: “My debut single, Them Eater celebrates the freedom to love anyone regardless of their sexual or gender identity. It’s a queer song that captures the sexual tension experienced on a night out.”

Interestingly, the title of the song reflects on Nelly Furtado’s 2006 hit ‘Maneater’ who is one of Rojas’ influences and this is clear when you hear their sound.

The track is a modern dance hit that uses 80s-style synths, raspy vocals, and drum beats, which urge your body to move the second you hear it.

Them Eater is perfect for any club DJ set on the London music scene.

“Cus she’s a girl, Into girls into boys, Into them, Girls into femmes, Boys into bears, Them into her, Him into them, But fuck me am I right, Cus nobody cares”.

This clever chorus seamlessly builds into an irresistibly dance-worthy bass drop, capturing the energy of a night out where each moment flows effortlessly into the next. The lyrics blend just as smoothly, creating a catchy and memorable vocal that sticks with you.

With this release, Rojas proves they’re an artist to watch. If they keep delivering music this impressive, there’s no doubt big things are on the horizon for them.

    Them Eater is out now.

River Rojas – Them Eater Lyrics

    Low key into this
    You’re hard to get
    Until you’re pressed up
    On my lips

    Walks in a room
    Like a moth to flame

    Bends with a snap
    To get you into bed

    You’re driving me insane
You’re on fleek with your leather
    and your chains

    Tell you friends
    To walk away
    I’m about to
    Cut this tension
    With a knife

    Un, deux, trois

    Cus she’s a girl
    Into girls into boys
    Into them

    Girls into femmes
    Boys into bears

    Them into her
    Him into them

But fuck me am I right
    Cus nobody cares

    I get so hard
    by my thoughts for you
    Oh I’m so unprepared

    See you walking
    Straight up to me

    Never ever
    Have I been so scared

    Heart Beat
    In my throat

    It’s your lips
    Upon my neck
    My kryptonite

    Didn’t think it
    Hit so hard
    Midnight magic
    Break my heart

    Uno, dos, tres

    Cus she’s a girl
    into girls
    into boys
    Into them

    Girls into femmes
    Boys into bears

    Them into her
    Him into them

But fuck me am I right
    Cus nobody cares
