Michael O. delivers an intimate blend of smooth R&B vocals and Afrobeats rhythm with Attention, a track that pairs midtempo grooves with a reflective, almost melancholic energy.

The song builds on smooth melodies, layered percussion, and a saxophone that subtly enhances its emotional depth.

Written in a Lagos apartment, Attention was born from a conversation between Michael O., Chuvano, and producer Nolimitz.

What began as an exchange of thoughts on a long-distance relationship evolved into a song that captures the frustration and quiet acceptance of love fading.

Michael O.’s vocals sit comfortably in the mix, and his delivery carries a natural ease, making every lyric feel like a personal confession rather than a performance.

The production avoids excess, allowing the song to breathe while maintaining a steady groove.

There’s a softness to Attention that makes it easy to replay, yet beneath the smooth exterior, the emotion lingers.

It’s not a dramatic heartbreak anthem. Instead, it sits in that familiar space of realisation—when words stop being enough, and all that’s left is the quiet distance between two people.

Attention is now available to stream.

    Michael O. Attention Lyrics

Ooh, Putting in everything to dial your line
It doesnt register like half your mind

Ooh, You see I be a better ride or die
But you keep pushing me an arm aside

Got this feeling for your body not in a silly way
You know with me its gonna be a holiday
Wanting your overload like each and every way oh ah

Got this feeling for your body not into silly games
You know with me its gonna be a holiday
But then Im down for the chase eitherway

    Girly you give low (Attention)
But you aint giving no (Affection)
But I dey show you all my (Attention)
    then your body o ay

    Girly you give low (Attention)
But you aint giving no (Affection)
But I dey show you all my (Attention)
    then your body o ay

Girlie what do you want for me
what do you want for me (x2)
    Oh, Attention

    Just wanna shot of love
    Loves like an antidote
    Yours what I’m long
    Yours what I’m longing for

    Just wanna shot of love
    Loves like an antidote
    Yours what I’m long
    Yours what I’m longing for

Am I asking for too much?

Got this feeling for your body not in a silly way
You know with me its gonna be a holiday
Wanting your overload like each and every way oh ah

Got this feeling for your body not into silly games
You know with me its gonna be a holiday
But then Im down for the chase eitherway

    Girly you give low (Attention)
But you aint giving no (Affection)
But I dey show you all my (Attention)
    then your body o ay

    Girly you give low (Attention)
But you aint giving no (Affection)
But I dey show you all my (Attention)
    then your body o ay

Girlie what do you want for me
what do you want for me (x2)
    Oh, Attention
