Cheska Moore’s intoxicating new single Stop Myself blends industrial synths, late-night confessions, and a haunting chorus that’ll be stuck in your head for days.

The South London songstress has already proven she knows her way around a moody banger (just ask her 2.2 million Spotify streams), but this track takes things to a whole new level of emotional complexity.

Producer Mahrow crafts a sonic world where eerie synths pulse beneath Moore’s intimate vocals, creating a tension that builds with every verse.

The track thrives on contrast—minimalist moments dissolve into explosive choruses, enriched by layered harmonies and vocoder effects that distort her voice just enough to feel otherworldly.

The real magic lies in the pauses, where silence sharpens the impact of each beat.

“That’s when my mind, it starts to wander / But late at night, it gets much harder,” Moore confesses, her voice drenched in midnight contemplation.

And when she repeats, “Then I stop myself,” the phrase hangs in the air, amplified by jagged electronic textures that mirror the song’s emotional tug-of-war.

Moore strikes the perfect balance between dark pop’s cinematic drama and raw vulnerability.

Stop Myself is both commanding and intimate, a song that lingers in the mind as much as it does on repeat.

Catch it now on all major streaming platforms as the second single from Moore’s upcoming EP.

    Cheska Moore Stop Myself Lyrics

    I feel that heaven’s
    Getting away from me
Getting afraid of what I might do
If you were close to me
    I know I’m no saint
    Under the surface
    I keep you buried deep

It’s when the nights creep up on me

    That’s when my
    Mind
    It Starts
    To wonder
    But late at
    Night
    It Gets
    Much harder
Curious thoughts up in my head
    Little too close
    Over the edge
That’s when my hands they start to wonder
    Then
    I stop myself

    I shouldn’t pretend
That you’re lying next to me
    Touching my skin
    Breathing me in
Put my mind on a leash
    Would it be so bad
    To dance with your shadow
    Mixing up skin and sheets

It’s when the nights creep up on me

    That’s when my
    Mind It Starts
    To wonder But late at
    Night
    It Gets
    Much harder
Curious thoughts up in my head
I get a little too close
    Over the edge
That’s when my hands they start to wander
    Then I stop myself
    If these walls could talk
    They would beg for me
    Hear the agony
    Inside my thoughts

    That’s when my
    Mind
    It Starts
    To wonder
    But late at
    Night
    It Gets
    Much harder
Curious thoughts up in my head
    Little too close
    Over the edge
That’s when my hands they start to wander
    Then I stop myself
