Last week we were invited to “The BIG Session”, a very special charity show at Printworks, London, organised by Bulldog Gin for Nordoff Robbins.

Nordoff Robbins is the largest independent music therapy charity in the UK, dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people. The association was founded by Paul Nordoff and Clive Robbins in 1976 with the idea that music therapists can support people to develop their own ways of being musical in order to explore their potential and connect with the world around them.

The guests had the opportunity to celebrate “World Gin Day” in style with Bulldog London Dry Gin cocktails. The Campari’s Bulldog London Dry Gin was fresh and amazing and cocktails were completed with tonic or juice.

Sandy Trappitt, Senior Partnerships Manager for Nordoff Robbins said, “I am absolutely delighted that we have this opportunity to work alongside BULLDOG Gin – partnerships like this are so important to us, as they support and enable us to continue our life-changing music therapy work. This is an exciting time for Nordoff Robbins, and we can’t wait to work together.”

The Big Session’s amazing musical line-up featured DJ sets from Tom Findlay of Groove Armada, along with Housekeeping and Siggy Smalls before a headline set from Gorgon City.

Gorgon City is an English electronic music production duo consisting of Matt & Kye. They are one of the UK’s finest dance music exports who has sold in excess of 2.5 million combined singles and albums worldwide. Following their debut single ‘Real’, released in 2012,things went into overdrive in 2014 with the release of their first album ‘Sirens’ which contains the famous single ‘Ready for Your Love’ ft MNEK, number 4 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2016 they released their second album called ‘Kingdom’.

‘Go Deep’ is the title of Gorgon City’s latest song featuring Kamille and Ghosted via Universal Music.

All the proceeds of every event’s ticket bought went to Nordoff Robbins. Music is so powerful, it helps everyone during life-changing moments and It will always be a constant in our lives. We’ve all been touched by songs and records from all genres over the years. This is something we cannot ever forget. If you want to support Nordoff Robbins too you can donate here.
