New York artist Jeryko tackles life’s second coming-of-age in his latest single Dreaming, where optimistic defiance meets ethereal production.

The track opens with gentle guitar strums before building into a rich tapestry of electronic elements and gritty bass lines that mirror his artistic evolution.

“Faith is fake if it’s just words” sets the tone for a song that refuses to accept cynicism as wisdom.

While others might dismiss dreams as youthful naivety, Jeryko crafts a sonic middle finger to the naysayers, wrapped in dreamy vocals and addictive hooks.

The production takes an interesting route – starting with acoustic intimacy before exploding into electronic-tinged determination.

That buildups mirrors the song’s core message about pushing past the initial phase of adulthood into something deeper.

When he sings “I’m still dreaming in the clouds, not coming down,” it’s not just rebellion – it’s a mission statement.

Between the layered guitar melodies and those thumping drum breakdowns, Dreaming manages to sound both ethereal and grounded.

It’s like Jeryko found the perfect spot between head-in-the-clouds optimism and feet-on-the-ground resolve.

    Jeryko Dreaming Lyrics

Faith is fake if it’s just words
Lies are truths that go unheard

No one believes until the end
And you’ve done whats in your head

They say the story is written
    and we know the ending
    so don’t share your vision
    of a world ascending

Dreaming heads up in the clouds
I’m just dreaming they tell me to come down
All they know is what they tell themselves
But I’m still dreaming in the clouds
    Not coming down

I trust the world ya that’s just me
I believe in those who refuse to see

Time heals it all but your disbelief
In where I was and where I’ll be

They say the story is written
    and we know the ending
    so don’t share your vision
    of a world ascending

Dreaming heads up in the clouds
I’m just dreaming they tell me to come down
All they know is what they tell themselves
But I’m still dreaming in the clouds
    Not coming down
