The latest collaboration between Luna Keller and Pacific K strikes a delicate balance between introspection and hope.

In a Summer or Two emerges as a thoughtful exploration of early-twenties uncertainty, wrapped in atmospheric folk arrangements.

It’s the kind of song you need to listen to outside in the fresh air, watching clouds drift by and the seasons change, pondering life’s big questions.

That’s the vibe these two artists have bottled in their latest track.

“Being in my early 20’s comes with a lot of seeking answers and questions around my purpose, my meaning and where I’ll end up in this life. “In a Summer or Two” is a song that acknowledges that uncertainty and that it’s okay to not have it all figured out. We can learn as we go. We actually have to because if we are paralysed by not knowing, we might end up not living at all” – Luna Keller.

The song was born from a winter escape to Spain, where Pacific K’s Kristaps Bedritis joined Keller. The song captures the essence of deep conversations and self-discovery.

The songwriting process unfolded organically – Bedritis introduced a mesmerising guitar riff, inspiring Keller to pen lyrics that reflect on life’s big questions.

It’s a track that comfortably encapsulates a sense of knowing yet tinged with uncertainty.

Keller’s vocals, clear and purposeful, carry lyrics that acknowledge the challenge of finding one’s place in the world without succumbing to the pressure of immediate answers.

The recurring line, “Might grow roots in a summer or two,” speaks to the gentle permission we sometimes need to give ourselves – to take time, to question, to gradually find our footing.

Pacific K’s soundscape provides a sturdy foundation, with layers that build and recede like tides, supporting the narrative without overshadowing it.

The repetitive guitar pattern creates a meditative backdrop that mirrors the cyclical nature of self-reflection.

In a Summer or Two particularly resonates as we transition between seasons.

Truly, Keller and Pacific K snatch a fleeting spark of connection that reverberates wildly, teetering on the edge of uncertainties.

It’s a soundscape for those strange, hopeful moments of disorientation—because, let’s face it, aren’t we all caught in the chaos sometimes?

Luna Keller x Pacific K – In a Summer or Two Lyrics

All my pages fall to the floor
    Open window like before
Saw it when the day was born
    crumbling walls spinning doors
    All my pages pages torn

    No regrets
    Only those I’ve left unspoken
Time to tear this whole thing open
    Step by step
There’s no need to keep it steady
Tell me where and I’ll be ready

Might grow roots in a summer or two
plant a garden like they do
find the stones to build my truth
in all the wrongs of this youth
I might grow in a summer or two
    In a summer or two
    In a summer or two

    No regrets
    Only those I’ve left unspoken
Time to tear this whole thing open
    Step by step
There’s no need to keep it steady
Tell me where and I’ll be ready
    In a summer or two
    In a summer or two
