South Minneapolis native Mati is back with still fed—a track that trades flash for focus.

The production is stripped back, built around soft synth textures and measured drum patterns, giving space for his words to land without distraction.

His delivery drifts between rap and melody, keeping the track grounded in emotion even as the rhythm shifts.

“Excuse my language, but I approach this like a better man,” he says, setting the tone early.

The verses unpack the weight of hardship, ego, and emotional fatigue.

There’s something disarming in the way he lets each line sit, raw and unguarded. “Maybe I’m the problem but my ego got a bigger brand.”

The recurring hook—OJ and ramen noodles, I’m still fed—frames the song around survival, not as something dramatic, but as something quietly resilient.

It’s a reflection on making peace with what’s left on the table, and the strength it takes to keep going with it.

There’s no sugarcoating. still fed moves like a conversation with yourself at the end of a long day, where the only goal is to be honest. Mati’s clarity cuts through—and that’s what makes it stick.

    Mati still fed Lyrics

Excuse my language but I approach this like a better man
Odds gon stack against me but I put the chips on better hands
Maybe I’m the problem but my ego got a bigger brand
Walkin’ by the ocean, put my feet inside the strongest sand
This ain’t a confession like a woman wit an OnlyFans
Wise enough to admit, I was focused on the wrong things

Eyes looked at me crazy like I was smoking on the strongest strand
Turn the TV off, we going further than reality
I asked her for deeper conversation, she told me actually
It’s some thoughts she had in her chest, tried to tell me casually
I can’t really take you that serious, you really baffle me
What she was really trynna say, she needed more from me

But I’m not really thankful for the things I had to live through
You was crying wit your head down, I had to lift you
But I’m not trynna hear that shit, ain’t trynna hear that shit

Basically I’m just closed eyes and diving in (diving in)
Right side, wrong side, I don’t care (don’t care)
Life give you lemons but it’s not fair (not fair)
OJ and ramen noodles, I’m still fed (still fed)

Grape vines and cold times, I still trust (still trust)
Still shine the dark days, we had less (had less)
Bright side wit no pride, we all blessed (all blessed)
OJ and ramen noodles, I’m still fed

All the sudden knowledge is never really sustainable
All the shit we learning is starting to feel disposable
Why the fuck a test score, tell me I’m not eligible
And drama ready to just drop me off and tell me the news

Basically I’m just closed eyes and diving in (diving in)
Right side, wrong side, I don’t care (don’t care)
Life give you lemons but it’s not fair (not fair)
OJ and ramen noodles, I’m still fed (still fed)

Grape vines and cold times, I still trust (still trust)
Still shine the dark days, we had less (had less)
Bright side wit no pride, we all blessed (all blessed)
OJ and ramen noodles, I’m still fed
