Odelet’s new release Mesh isn’t just another track on her upcoming album, Pisces Pie—it’s a captivating glimpse into the Detroit-born artist’s ever-evolving musical universe.

This multifaceted artist’s unique writing style goes beyond genre constraints, dissolving boundaries with every ethereal melody.

Her vocals, a delicate balance of subdued power and silky-smooth emotiveness, glide over sparse, jazzy instrumentation, creating a dreamlike soundscape that warms you from the inside out.

A talented singer-songwriter, Odelet is also a producer adept at crafting her own instrumental landscapes.

Following the success of The Angels Album, this spring heralds the release of Pisces Pie, a collaborative project with Everlasting Tape, a production company founded herself.

As Odelet herself puts it, “When it comes to my vocals, I just hear what I hear…Something about it can feel like jazz.”

But Mesh is far more than just a showcase for Odelet’s unique vocal stylings.

Her genre-bending artistry is on display, effortlessly blending jazz-infused vocals with a production style that nods to classic hip-hop.

The lyrics, while simple on the surface, invite you to look deeper, to see beyond the everyday and into the realm of dreams and possibilities.

Odelet’s plaintive plea resonates with vulnerability and honesty, gently nudging you to look beyond what you see and embrace all that you could be.

It’s a reminder that, as Odelet sings, “In the mornin’ light, it is much more clear in me.” The dawn brings clarity, revealing our true potential.

With Mesh, Odelet has given us a taste of the magic she’s cooked up on Pisces Pie.

It’s a captivating blend of genres, and a sonic daydream that leaves you wanting more.

    Odelet Mesh Lyrics

All that you, all that you, all that you, all that you… Be
    Now I want you
    To look through
    Out past
What you see What you see
    Yes I want you
    To see through
Into all that you dream to be
Trust me when I tell you this
It’s a feeling we often dismiss
In the case that seems I forget
It’s a matter you won’t put to bed
Put it Put it Put it Put it
    Put it to bed
    Put it to bed
Put it put it put it Put it
    Put it to bed
    Trust me
    It’s a feeling
    In the case
    It’s a matter
    That you won’t
    Put to bed
    Put it
    Put it
    To bed to bed
    Trust me
    It’s a feeling
    In the case
    It’s a matter
    Put it put it
    Put it to bed
    Put it to bed
    Look through
    Out past
    What you see
    See through
    Into
All that you all that you
    Be…
    In the mornin light
It is much more clear in me
    I’ll wake perfectly in place
Letting you love your way to me
I love to feel your face
I wanna pave your way for me
    And let
And let you love me still
And let and let and let
And let you love me still
    Still still still
    Now I want you
    To look through
    Out past
    What you see
    Yes I want you
    To see through
Into all that you dream to be
All that you, all that you, all that you all that you be
