Quiet Home DJ Mix Drops September 12

Moby continues to blur the lines between nostalgia and innovation with his latest release: a cassette remix of Precious Mind, featuring the haunting vocals of India Carney.

The remix takes a beloved track from his 2024 album Always Centred at Night and amplifies it with cinematic strings and deep, brooding synths that wrap around Carney’s soulful delivery.

What once felt like a jazzy haze is now transformed into a widescreen trip-hop masterpiece, showcasing Moby’s knack for reinvention.

Accompanying the remix is a self-directed video, adding a visual layer to the immersive soundscapes Moby has perfected over his career.

Known for fusing music with striking visual artistry, Moby’s creative process transcends the auditory, making each release a multi-sensory experience.

This remix is just a teaser for what’s next. On September 12th, Moby will release Quiet Home DJ Mix, a collection of new and unreleased versions of tracks from Always Centred at Night.

Moby’s remix of “Precious Mind” adds another layer to an already rich project.

His ability to continuously evolve while staying true to his distinct style highlights his creative longevity.

Fans can soon experience this evolution live as Moby embarks on his first European and UK tour in over a decade.

The tour, which celebrates his groundbreaking 1999 album Play, is already generating buzz with several dates sold out.

Notably, 100% of the tour’s profits will go to European animal rights organisations, reflecting Moby’s enduring commitment to activism.

Moby’s vegan and animal rights activism  has been a constant throughout his career, intertwined with his artistry.

His directorial debut, Punk Rock Vegan Movie, explored the relationship between punk music and animal rights, further solidifying his role as a voice for ethical living in the entertainment world.

For now, fans can enjoy Moby’s latest cassette remix of “Precious Mind” and look forward to the upcoming release of Quiet Home DJ Mix on September 12th.

With each release, Moby proves that true artistry, like his, knows no boundaries in time or genre.
