“Don’t worry, you’ll find it, For you”

Saskia releases her stunning new song and accompanying music video ‘For You’ in partnership with Music For Mental Wealth. The song will send shivers up and down your spine as Saskia’s celestial vocals wind around the rippling piano and emotive strings. The visuals are appropriately Christmassy with twinkling lights and a powerful choir.

If you have a home to go to, a door that’s always open for you
Family and friends who know your name
Living in an ever after, spending all your time together
Knowing things will always be the same
And if you find that you’ve nowhere to go
All that you need is right here for you

Saskia Griffiths-Moore has spent years on the acoustic music circuit and is well known in the London folk scene. Deciding to leave her job as a therapist in London’s Harley street she pursued a career in music, moving to Bristol and then back to London. She has received four grants from Arts Council England and has recently returned from successful tours of Germany and the USA.

‘For You’ was recorded and crowdfunded (it raised over £8k) with a 40 person choir of fans in studio 2 in Abbey Road Studios, in partnership with the London charity Music For Mental Wealth.

It can be a particularly difficult time of year for those who are struggling and ‘For You’ resonates musically and lyrically and with the uplifting feeling you get when you listen to it. It has healing qualities and the feeling of coming together and supporting each other from the choir’s beautiful harmonies. The visuals reflect this with people of all ages singing and really enjoying every moment.

“’For You’ is a soaring feel-good ballad with the message that everything we need for life, we already possess on the inside. The main message of this heartwarming song is that everything one needs in life is on the inside”. – Saskia Griffiths-Moore

Music for mental wealth is a charity which helps the prevention of mental health challenges in the music industry, working with companies and artists to support and empower them with the knowledge and tools to enjoy their careers and lives. Find out more.

‘For You’ is released on 6th December 2019. You can pre-save it here.
