Exciting news from Wild Front who announce their UK headline tour for October 2018 and release their brand new video for ‘Make You Feel’ which is officially out tomorrow.

The band’s latest single ‘Make You Feel’ was released by AWAL and co-written by Alfie Jackson (of The Holloways) and produced by Fred Cox (Rag N’ Bone Man, Kasabian, Paloma Faith).

Frontman Jack Williams, lead guitarist Joe Connell, bassist Mike Flowers, and drummer Josh Betteridge make up Wild Front and in their latest single they have created an absorbing song. There is a lushness to the synths and instrumental arrangements with an 80s undertone. Jack’s rough-edged croon carries a wistfulness and yet there is an undeniable swagger and groove. All these facets are pulled together with a natural cohesiveness.

The visuals are slightly hazy and show the band performing the song incorporating ‘Black Mirror’ style aspects with various items of technology and blurring effects. It portrays the playful personalities of the band and you know they had fun while making it.

Discussing the lyrics, the indie group comment that the song, “deals with the issues faced in relationships in times where you unintentionally shut people off because of your own personal issues. Sometimes you have a lot to work on in your own life, and it can be so easy to neglect the people closest to you, and it can often feel like in those moments that you are not ready for a relationship. It’s the moment you recognise the way you’ve treated the person you’re with. The song is a cry from a place of guilt and insecurity“.

Wild Front has had a busy summer playing the Main Stages at both the Isle Of Wight Festival and British Summer Time, as well as playing Reading & Leeds Festival, The Great Escape, Neighbourhood and Common People. They were also handpicked by Emily Eavis to headline Glastonbury’s BBC Introducing stage, been on Spotify’s New Music Friday many times and are heavily playlisted across Radio X.

‘Make You Feel’ is taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, due to be released in 2019.

In the meantime, you can catch Wild Front at Liverpool Arts Club, Newcastle Think Tank, Leeds Hyde Park Book Club, Brighton Hope & Ruin, London Camden Assembly and the Southampton Engine Rooms in October.
