Cole LC’s Weight of Love seamlessly melds anthemic alt-pop production with raw emotional storytelling.

His voice floats effortlessly through a nostalgic soundscape while confessing, “I peaked, talking way too much, breathing down your throat” – perfectly capturing those moments when anxiety makes us overshare.

Between the hazy, retro-tinged basement indie atmospherics and his floating vocals, Cole creates a sonic diary entry of unspoken feelings.

“Feeling some way but I’ll never say” he admits, as the production builds like a tide of suppressed emotions.

The candlelit ambiance (quite literally referenced in “candlelight in my eyes, I see blind”) adds to the track’s intimate late-night confession vibe.

Released via LC Recordings, this genre-bending artist continues to push creative boundaries.

When he asks “Have you ever felt the weight of love?” amidst the swelling instrumental landscape, it strikes like a eureka moment in reverse – the sudden understanding that some things are better left unsaid.

The track closes with a whispered “We don’t talk much, tonight,” making overthinking feel oddly beautiful.

Cole LC Weight of Love Lyrics

    I peaked
    Talking way too much
    Breathing down your throat
Feeling some way but I’ll never say
    But don’t call it
    Please stay Darling
I tried for you, not to wait
I’m paying attention, I never know what to say

Have you ever felt the weight of love
Have you ever said whats on your mind

    I see
    Holding on to yours
Candlelight in my eyes I see blind
    But i’ll never know

    But don’t call it
    Please stay Darling
I tried for you, not to wait
I’m paying attention, I never know what to say

Have you ever felt the weight of love
Have you ever said whats on your mind
    We don’t talk much, tonight
