Weston Estate’s latest track, Where Do We Go, is a stunning showcase of the band’s unique blend of lo-fi, alt-rock, and cultural fusion. With members of Indian and Cuban-American descent, the band draws upon diverse influences to create a unique sound.

At its core, Where Do We Go is about post-breakup introspection and the struggle to find one’s path amidst a noisy world. The evocative vocals of Manas Panchavati and Tanmay Joshi beautifully capture the bittersweet moments of a relationship that has ended, while Srikar Nanduri’s guitar and Abhi Manhass’s production create a lush soundscape that is both dreamy and nostalgic.

The mid-tempo beats and rich instrumental accompaniments combine to create irresistible harmonies.

Overall, Where Do We Go is an alluring track that effortlessly fuses cultural influences and introspection to create a lush and nostalgic soundscape.

Weston Estate Where Do We Go? Lyrics

    Intro
    I’m still finding meaning
    In what the future holds
I wanted you to save me
    From what’s outside the door

    Follow me closely
    No need to bother
    Hold onto the stories

    Chorus
    Oh maybe we’d make it
If only I stayed for a while
    No need to face it
We could just take our time

    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?

    Verse 1
Do you remember the lipstick I got you?
Run it over your lips to remind you
We was only just kids it was honest
Making light of the things that we promised

Oh girl, we knew this was dangerous
This type of love, it ain’t nothing to play with, yeah
We hold it up till it’s caving
    Six feet under the pavement

    Chorus
    Oh maybe we’d make it
If only I stayed for a while
    No need to face it
We could just take our time

    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?

    Verse 2
    So misled, so misguided
    Keepin’ to myself I’m trying
    Days filled with rushes
    Why you making assumptions
    Wasting discussions
    Focusing on the past tense
So I’m leaving you in the past tense
How could I, when I’m letting my doubts die
How could I, when I’m feeling the love
    How could I

    Chorus
    Oh maybe we’d make it
If only I stayed for a while
    No need to face it
We could just take our time

    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?
    Where do we go?

    Outro
I’m still findin’ meaning in what the future holds
I wanted you to save me but now you’re really gone
