Bloodstream by Wingtip is a dizzy indie-pop anthem that rushes straight for the heart.

San Francisco-bred singer, songwriter, and producer Wingtip real name Nick Perloff-Giles has carved out a space with his blend of nostalgic soft rock, vivid pop textures, and a cinematic indie edge.

The track is the first taste of his sophomore album Luckyman, landing October 17th.

“It was the most fun song to make,” Wingtip explains. “It’s very maximalist. Lyrically, it’s about feeling excited for someone, but it almost toes the line between obsession and infatuation.”

That tension pulses through the whole track.

It opens with a glistening piano line and warm vocal layers that lean nostalgic, before bursting into a chorus that’s lush, anthemic, and just a touch messy in the best way.

Lines like “She’s a real life technicolor lucid dream / Sweet and sour like a tangerine” pin down the dizzy contradictions of being hooked on someone you can’t quite define.

The verses move fast, anchored by crisp drum grooves and rich guitar swells that keep the momentum constant.

Wingtip’s knack for balancing swooning hooks with confessional edges is what makes Bloodstream stick.

It’s warm, a little chaotic, and it’s the kind of indie-pop that fills the room, sweeps you up, and leaves you humming with the echo of that first rush.

    Wingtip Bloodstream Lyrics

    She’s a
Full sail in an ocean breeze
Cold sweats and the shaky knees
She’s a tall drink on a summer night
Chapped lips and my bloodshot eyes

She’s a real life technicolor lucid dream
Sweet and sour like a tangerine
Sweater vest and some rolled up jeans
And I’m falling apart at the seams

    It’s hotter than hell
I’m sick of this city I’m sick of myself
I’m seeing a shrink and I hope that it helps
I feel like she knows that I’m lying but she’ll never tell

    And it gets so strange
The moment I found you the moment I fell
I need you so bad that it’s bad for my health
Tell me you love me like nobody else because

Oh, I want to be addicted
    I wanna be a victim
    I wanna be yours
Oh, I wanna be your junkie
Put your dreams all in my bloodstream
    I wanna be yours

She’s a full dose of adrenaline
My heart stops when she let’s me in
I’m strapped in baby to her rocket ship
And I’ll go up again and again

    Spit in my mouth
Fuck with my head and then push me around
I got this feeling I can’t keep it down
The voice in my head won’t shut up it’s just too goddamn loud

    Tell me to cry
Tell me to jump out a plane in the sky
Tell me to be there and get out and tell you I need you I love you
Till I’m out my mind because

Oh, I want to be addicted
    I wanna be a victim
    I wanna be yours
Oh, I wanna be your junkie
Put your dreams all in my bloodstream
    I wanna be yours

Oh, I want to be addicted
    I wanna be a victim
    I wanna be yours
Oh, I wanna be your junkie
Put your dreams all in my bloodstream
    I wanna be yours
